March for Dimes - Blanket Giveaways!

So, unfortunately I didn't get much response to my post about the Bloggers for Babies group that is walking for the March for Dimes...oh wait, just about no response. Haha, that's alright. Well, I really feel strongly about this cause to help with the medical costs associated with babies born prematurely or with medical complications, so I decided that I would giveaway TEN of the baby blankets that I so love to make!!

Haven't seen them? Go here to see some pictures and read the details of them. They are a soft minky dot material on one side and cotton flannel on the other and measure approximately 36"X30".

How do you get them?? Well, the first ten $25 donations to the March for Dimes through the below link, will be mailed a blanket! Not ready to spend $25? I can do two burp clothes for a $12 donation. High roller? No worries, I will send you a blanket with two matching burp clothes for a $40 donation! They make great baby or toddler blankets. Don't have a child, no worries, this will cover the next baby shower you attend!

Here is a picture of the blanket I ended up making for the last giveaway winner and one of the burp clothes I made recently.

Want to donate and have a baby blanket, burp clothes, or both mailed to you? Click on the "donate now" button below. Then leave me a comment letting me know if you would like a girl, boy, or gender neutral blanket/burp cloth. (Don't know how to comment? That's okay, I can get your e-mail off of your donation). I will get in touch with you and give you several color/pattern options. Also, I will mail these out in the order that people donate them. Please give me up to six weeks to get the last ones mailed out. Thanks!!! :)

Time For A Giveaway!!

Life has been crazy, but I have been meaning to put up a great giveaway to celebrate Hunter's 2nd birthday!

Karri at Just Because Bowtique http://www.etsy.com/shop/JustBecauseBowtique?ref=pr_shop_more did a wonderful job making airplane crayon keepers for favors at Hunter's party. And she graciously offered to include an extra one for one of my readers, yay!!

I couldn't of been more happy with how they turned out. They are really great quality, include crayons and a small pad of paper. This would be perfect for any mom to keep in her purse for quick toddler entertainment.

So, this giveaway if for one airplane crayon keeper. To enter leave a comment for each of the following:

1. Head over to Karri's etsy shop and tell me what you love most.

2. Follow Doyle's Days publicly through Google friend connect (on the right side of this page) and let me know! :)

I will be randomly choosing a winner on Monday, November 7th.

Book Giveaway!

Ever get so caught up in life as a mom that you struggle to find time to get your fill of God's Word in your life?

A few months ago some of e-friends and I started a devotional via e-mail. We choose the book "Spilt Milk: Devotions for Moms" by Linda Vujnov.

It has been a great tool to fuel our devotions! As a group, we have really opened up to each other, read the Word, and most importantly, taken time out of our hectic lives to focus on Him.

One of the ladies actually got in touch with the author, Linda Vujnov, and Linda so graciously would love to give away a copy of her book to one of each of our readers!

There are two ways to enter:

1) Follow Doyle's Days and leave a comment letting me know that you do

2) Leave a comment and share with the rest of us how you find time to spend time in the Word.

I will randomly pick a winner on Friday, May 13th by 10pm PST.

Shutterfly Giveaway!

Valentine's Day is approaching! I know some of you may dislike Valentine's Day and claim that it's just a Hallmark holiday... but it's just so darn fun to celebrate!

Jesse and I don't go too crazy with this famous day of celebrating love and passion. Last year Jesse's mom was in town and offered to watch Hunter so that we could go out for a few hours. We ended up going to the casino and losing our money in record time and then going to a yummy sushi restaurant where we enjoyed raw fish, a stiff drink, and good conversation.

For me, Valentine's Day is a great day to reconnect. It's a reminder of how we are supposed to love each other everyday of the year. I can't wait to include Hunter in this holiday this year. I am a huge believer that Valentine's Day is not just a day to show your love for your significant other, but for all the people you love.

I was already planning on taking some pictures of Hunter wearing a cute Valentine's outfit that I had purchased at Baby Gap and making up some photo cards on Shutterfly to send to Hunter's grandparents and great grandparents and even his great great grandmother in Minnesota!

I love these ones!

Check out their awesome cards: Valentine's Day Cards

They also have great gifts: Valentine's Day Gifts

Or if you have a birthday party coming up: Birthday Invitations

Shutterfly has so generously offered me and one of my lucky readers 25 FREE Valentine cards from their website! I will be randomly choosing a winner for this giveaway on January 28th.

You are eligible for up to 3 entries... here's how:

1. Follow my blog and leave me a comment telling me that you follow. If you already follow, simply leave me a comment telling me so.
2. Leave a separate comment telling me what cards you would order from Shutterfly.
3. Follow me on twitter @doylesdays and leave me a separate comment telling me that you are following.
